I think Malaysia still a better place to invest in oil palm plantation because of its experience, regulating authority ( Malaysian palm Oil Board). Even Indonesia do not have a good set-up therefore the world market prices of Indonesian palm oil products are lower. Report Abuse

The palm oil industry was once a prime driver in the Nigerian economy. Then came competition from Malaysia (and others), independence and then rapid disintegration from around 1980.
Prospects are clear: It is a no go; not even a go-slow.

who cares ? the only palm oil I've seen is the one oily palm holding 419 letters around the world.
